So, my little family has been sharing a nasty cold for over a week now. I have been following everyone around with my bottle of clorox wipes. Then Zack started holding his ear and crying (pretty obvious what's wrong.) Got him into the Dr. to get the usual medication for ear infections. Then the next afternoon, I get a call from the school nurse and it went a little like this: "Alexandra has chickenpox from head to toe." "What???? She has had her immunizations for that." I said. "That doesn't guarantee that she won't steill get them." Okay, so why bother with the shot? is what I am thinking at this point. So, I go pick her up and bring her into the Dr., and it turns out to NOT be chickenpox, but just a rash. She must've had a reaction to something. We are all coughing up our lungs. I think I am going to paint a big red X on my doors. "DO NOT ENTER - PLAUGE HAS HIT" signs should do the trick. Anyways, we are all starting to feel better and I have disinfected the house, so feel free to visit.
I forgot my camera card at home (I am writing this at work), but I will post some pictures soon.
It looks like it is going to be a nice weekend, according to the weather channel. If the forecast varies from channel to channel, I usually just pick the one that is closest to how I want the weather to be, and I go with that. It doesn't always work out for me, but hey, I try to be optimistic. Anyhow, if it is nice on Saturday, we are going to take a "leaf tour" up north on hwy. 38. It is so, so beautiful up that way this time of year. I want a new camera so bad to capture some of the awesomeness. The one I have works, but I want to get one that will take nice close-ups and get a better picture. Chrismas is coming.... (hint, hint)
As my dad always says, "Just livin' the dream"
