To start, here are the joys of my life, Zack (3yrs) and Alexandra (9 yrs) doing one of our favorite things, enjoying the lake on our pontoon. Now that the leaves are starting to change, I really apprecaite photos like these. It means another summer is over, and reminds me to check the clearance rack for next summer's swimsuits/trunks and lifejackets. I always have to have about 5 of each, since they tend to disappear throughout the summer.

Alex just started 4th grade, and Zack goes to daycare. Pretty typical little family. We have a 9 month old Golden Retriver named Lucy who is a huge part of our family. Nick and I were discussing having more kids, but instead we opted for a dog, which I guess is pretty much like having a child, but more work since kids don't tend to chew the stuffing out of all of my pillows, and (thank God) they don't crap in the frontyard. Life is good.
